Public Health Practice Instructor

As a Public Health Practice Instructor at SEU, you play a pivotal role in providing practical training to Public Health professionals in accordance with the German dual education system. You are responsible for developing essential Public Health skills tailored to Egypt's evolving health environment.

SEU is located in Badr City. It is a newly established University committed to an innovative approach in education by emphasizing practical studies making at least 60% of our curriculum. Our campus is equipped with cutting-edge laboratories, workshops, and simulation centers providing students with tools and resources needed to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting. We employ a variety of teaching methods, including case studies, group projects, and hands-on workshops to engage students in active learning.

Responsibilities at SEU

Apply theoretical SEU curriculum in real-world scenarios and settings to develop individual practical skills in Public Health.
Plan, organize, and conduct training sessions in Public Health (SEU’s labs are fully equipped with latest technologies) in close collaboration with SEU professors and lecturers.
Adhere to national and international laws, SEU’s objectives formulated in its Mission and Vision, the ethical guidelines, and Public Health regulations.
Maintain SEU’s quality standards, offering feedback, assessment, and support for Public Health students during their studies, excursions, and internships, whether local or national.
Promote a positive learning environment for the constant growth of the student’s personality and their professionalism in Public Health at SEU.
Promote team work in a positive learning environment for the constant growth of the student’s personality and their Public Health professionalism at SEU.
Participate in training programs on first aid, data protection, fire safety, work safety, ergonomics, healthcare prevention, quality insurance and environmental sustainability to uphold SEU’s security standards.

SEU’s Requirements

Completed generalist nurse or nursing specialist education with three years of practical experience – B.Sc. preferred.
High English proficiency to convey complex concepts clearly during practical Public Health instruction.
Proficiency in planning, organizing, and conducting practical training sessions.
Demonstrated commitment to cultivating a conducive learning atmosphere and environment for students, facilitating the transition of theoretical knowledge into practical skills across diverse Public Health scenarios and settings.
Adherence to ethical guidelines, healthcare laws, and regulations for professional integrity and patient well-being.
Team-oriented attitude alongside with interdisciplinary collaboration skills in an interprofessional team.
Empathy, patience, and adaptability to Public Health students’ individual needs and learning styles.
AHK Qualification (ADA Certificate) preferred.
