Water is one of our most valuable resources, essential for life, yet often taken for granted. In recognition of World Water Day (22nd of March), we reaffirm our commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) by raising awareness about the importance of water conservation. Small actions can make a big difference—saving water in our daily lives helps protect the environment and ensures access to clean water for future generations.

Professor Emeritus of Water Resources Management, Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, executed many national and international projects with organizations from Egypt, Canada, USA, Germany, Sweden, the World Bank, the Nile Basin and the EU. He has vast research, teaching and training experience in the areas of water resources, hydro politics, computer modelling, operations research, education, soft skills and intercultural communication.
