In a significant stride towards enhancing medical education and fostering research development, Saxony Egypt University for Applied Science and Technology (SEU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Theodor Bilharz Research Institute (TBRI). This partnership, formalized by Professor Dr. Ghada Bassioni, Acting President of SEU, and Professor Dr. Mohamed Shemis, Acting Director of TBRI, marks the beginning of a fruitful collaboration set to span the next five years.
The MoU is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing SEU’s Faculty of Healthcare, offering students and staff unique opportunities to deepen their medical expertise. The partnership will facilitate internships for SEU students at TBRI, allowing them to gain hands-on experience in the medical field, while simultaneously engaging in workshops and seminars at SEU’s International Collaboration Innovation and Continuous Education Center.
This cooperation not only focuses on academic and professional growth but also aims to mentor SEU students, nurturing their talents and preparing them for future challenges in healthcare. A liaison office coordinator will soon be appointed to ensure smooth communication and successful implementation of the MoU’s objectives.
The collaboration reflects SEU’s commitment to providing its students with access to cutting-edge resources and expertise, ultimately contributing to the betterment of Egypt’s healthcare sector.
