Seminar: Ancient Egyptian Food and the Practice Between Myth and Science

The seminar with Dr. Mohamed Farag (Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, Fellow of the World Academy of Sciences and Alexander von Humboldt) will take place on September 24th at 11 AM at the Center for Continuing Education at Badr University in Cairo (BUC).

The seminar will address a variety of topics, including the changes in Egyptian food over the decades, the relationship between Egyptian cuisine and Mediterranean countries, and its connection to public health and proper nutrition.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Farag

The seminar will be led by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Farag, a Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University. He is a Fellow of the World Academy of Sciences and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Additionally, he serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Advanced Research (impact factor 11.4) and Efood (impact factor 4.0).
